Abstract
Career planning is a heavily used word these days. Yet, can you actually "plan" your career? Or is it rather about being prepared for the options life might offer? And being prepared for the throwbacks that might happen? The talk will touch on some basic questions regarding work inside versus outside academia, give example on job options for people with a background in marine sciences and touch on possibilities on how to reach out for a (new) job.
